The 2007 Katas Rose from Rueda is 100% Tempranillo aged in stainless steel. Dark pink, the wine is currently a bit disjointed and needs to settle down. The largest in scale of these Roses, the wine has floral aromas, hints of apple, as well as strawberry and raspberry notes. It is ripe, structured, and lengthy, a virtual red wine in rose clothing. Sin-Ley means “without law”; the focus of the project is to innovate without being bound by D.O. regulations. The Rose series features wines from 5 D.O.s made with 5 different grape varieties.
