From the fine producer, Pey-Marin, comes this interesting Merlot. The grapes are from cool Marin and the wine is drier, more structured and much lower in alcohol than many of its California kin. Ripe cherry aromas and flavors come to the fore in this pretty wine. It’s medium bodied and elegant, displaying firm, ripe tannins and an interesting herbal edge for added complexity.
