2006 Old Rowley Grenache Shiraz Viognier has a pale garnet color and evolving earthy / gamey aromas with some notes of dried cranberries and cherries over damp loam, Mediterranean herbs and black olives. Medium bodied with crisp acid and firm, coarse, slightly astringent tannins, the finish is long and showing the faintest bit of greenness. Drinking now, it should keep to 2015. The Islander currently does not have a USA importer.
